Working Foreman - HS2 Project (BBV)

Location: West Midlands

Position: Working Foreman
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Working Foreman to join the BBV team delivering the UK's largest infrastructure project, HS2.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising site operations while remaining hands-on when required, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
* Lead site operatives and subcontractors to achieve programme targets.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
* Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Assist with planning and resource allocation to maintain productivity.
* Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Working Foreman within civil engineering, infrastructure, or major construction projects.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* SMSTS certification.
* CSCS card (Black or Gold).

* First Aid Certification.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous.
