Contractors named for £15.4bn DfE framework

18 Feb The Department for Education has named 23 contractors for its £15.4bn Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Framework 25.

Kier is building new premises for Upton-by-Chester High School in Cheshire under the Department for Education’s school rebuilding programme

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Framework 25 – CF25 – has been set up to support the Department for Education’s (DfE) educational infrastructure delivery programmes, including the design and build of educational facilities. These include schools, academies, university technical colleges, sixth-form colleges and further education colleges.

It runs for six years, from January 2026 to January 2032, with possible extensions to January 2034. It is valued at £15.4 billion.

It is divided into two value bands – above £12m and between £4.4m and 12m – and 10 regional lots.

Across the various lots, the following 23 contractors have been selected:
