Morgan Sindall also last week signed the code, although Morgan Lovell had already made the commitment back in January 2010 in the early days of the code.
The big names in construction that have still not signed include Galliford Try, BAM, Vinci, Wates, Amec and ISG.
Several big housebuilders also seem to think that prompt payment issues are nothing to do with them. Barratt, Bovis Homes, Persimmon, Redrow and Taylor Wimpey have all so far ignored the code, despite construction minister Michael Fallon urging all major firms to sign up.

Wates is a regular donor to the conservative party and deputy chairman James Wates last year was awarded a CBE for his work for the construction听industry. Its decision to snub Mr Fallon's request is therefore particularly likely to raise eyebrows.
