The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Laser Powder Bed Fusion System on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, North West based in Samlesbury.
Scope of Requirement
The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) Northwest, based at our state-of-the-art facility in Samlesbury, is seeking a forward-thinking partner for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a cutting-edge Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) System.
This equipment will act as a cornerstone for our facility's pioneering research, testing, and demonstration activities. By partnering with us, the successful supplier will play a vital role in advancing the AMRC’s cutting-edge research into critical additive manufacturing technologies, including design for manufacturability, advanced process parameter development, and innovative process monitoring techniques.
We are looking for an industry-leading system that delivers exceptional robustness, high precision, and flawless repeatability.
